New Wa'a Blessing

Kamamalahoe received its brand new wa'a this past Sunday, Feb 19.  The new wa'a, a Bradley Racer, was christened the "Papa'i" by Kahu Leolani Pratt.  The name, is fittingly derived from the village on the Big Island where the King Kamehameha I conceived the "Law of the Splintered Paddle", or Kamamalahoe.
