LONG DISTANCE 2006
Na Wahine O' Ke Kai, Molokai to Oahu, Sep 24 2006 The women of Ka Mamalahoe closed out their long distance season in excellent form by competing in the 2006 Na Wahine O Ke Kai World Outrigger Canoe Paddling Champioships. The 10-member crew finished the 41 mile course from Hale O' Lono Harbor in Molokai to Waikiki, Oahu in a time of 6 hours and 58 minutes. Follow their their steps from start to finish as they accept this great honor to be a part of the most challenging and coveted of outrigger paddling races.
