Frank & Lisa's Trip Home to the Big Island, Sep 1-10, 2006 Lisa and Frank managed to find time during the hectic Queen Lilliuoukalani Race Weekend to visit family and places that were a part of their history. First was a weekend hike from historic Waipio Valley to Waimanu Valley, (16 mile roundtrip). Then a visit to Franks childhood stomping ground in the village of Miloli'i, the last Hawaiian fishing village in the state.
