Sometimes a diversion from the usual cross training of one man paddling and running is just what the doctor ordered.  On this day, some of our paddlers turned themselves loose on the hills of Hawaii Kai to enjoy the sights and company of friends.

Farewell Dinner For Randy Chun & Tricia G, Feb 17, 2007

Ka Mamalahoe bid a fond Aloha to two of its finest on Feb 17th at the Waikiki Elks Club.  Randy Chun a charter member of Ka Mamalahoe, will depart for a new job in Japan.  Tricia Groenheim, in her second year, was a great friend to all and will be on the move to follow her hubby on his new job assignment in Germany.  Below are a few more shots of the nights festivities.

The going away celebration was a reunion of sorts as Ka Mamalahoe welcomed home Wanda, who's back home for a brief stay.  Here she is checking out the Waikiki sunset with her hubby Dave.
